Slavic Family Radio

Slavic Media Center, which includes Slavic Family Radio, Afisha magazine and Slavic Family newspaper, serves the diverse, multinational and multicultural community of people originating from Eastern Europe and countries of the former Soviet Union. Our mission is to provide the information and resources, both in the Ukrainian and Russian languages, from which the entire community can benefit and prosper. We are committed to providing inclusive and welcoming platforms for all members of our community, staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to share information, engage and promote community wellbeing, and make it more visible and thriving in the state of Oregon and beyond. We believe in working together and supporting each other to make our community strong and resilient. We recognize the cultural and language diversity of our community, and we will continue to promote unique identities, values and voices of our community through the channels available to us. We are a small business owned by a Ukrainian-American family that found its new home here in Oregon. We’ve been around with various services for over 30 years, and we are proud to provide critical information to help immigrants and refugees establish themselves in the United States.
